Building Regulations outline some of the conditions for an Occupancy Permit for a Place of Public Entertainment (POPE), which may include the engagement and responsibilities of Safety Officers to be in attendance to ensure the safety of all people onsite. The responsibilities of Safety Officers include emergency management, ensuring compliance with any conditions that may be included in your POPE permit as issued by the building authority or local council.
In addition to Safety Officers, First Aid Officers or qualified medical personnel such as Paramedics, Doctors, or Nurses. Parking Officers, Fire Services, and Lifeguards for safety in and around water are also often required.
